My San Francisco

San Francisco is one of the most beautiful cities in the world . I took my Birthday trip to San Francisco where is made of up a series of neighborhoods that stand out in their diversity and cultural variety . The best way to experience all of the distinct personalities of the city is taking the famous cable car on the Market street . Union Square is the heart of San Francisco's shopping , performing arts , and hotel industries . You'll find the boutiques , elegant art galleries and the world's best - known luxury retailers . The financial district is San Francisco's waterfront version of Wall Street . The pyramid - shaped Transamerica building was designed to allow light to better reach the streets below . North Beach / Telegraph Hill know as San Francisco's Little Italy . North beach boasts cafes and restaurants for every taste . Climb the steps to Coit Tower on Telegraph Hill for 360 - degree views of the city and bay . Fisherman's Wharf is most popular destination . Catch the ferry to Alcatraz Island from here , too . Pier39 hosts the city's famous sea lions who make their home on the docks . After I played in the bay , explore what the surrounding area has to offer . There's much to discover just beyond the bridges . Riding a bike seems a good idea too which I did it .
